The words of Sri Nisargadatta — “Strive without seeking, struggle without greed”  influenced me so deeply that I had them tattooed on my arm as a daily reminder. They point to something many of us eventually feel: the quiet stirring that there must be more to life than the mind’s endless interpretation of the senses. More than achievement, distraction, or identity. Something true. Something permanent.

Like many people on the spiritual path, I once believed the answers were somewhere outside myself — hidden in places, people, teachings, or experiences. But over time I’ve come to see that what we seek has never actually been absent. It’s already within us, waiting to be remembered. Searching for it outside ourselves is like tearing apart your home looking for keys that were in your pocket the entire time.

Still, even if the seeking itself is misguided, the journey matters. The questions matter. The struggle matters. Every step reveals something.
